Bohdalz the Fury farming
Hi, could anyone translate this please ?
I think I understand the build especially that I've farmed on sliver in the past and UW using stoneflesh&stone striker&mantra of earth but just to understand if there are any tricks in this farm.
I haven't tried it so far so I can't tell much but it's really hard to buy this staff so it might be helpfull

Ok trying to do my best :
Weapon :
Zealous Staff
You have to run the first zone, you will meet a few mobs of hekets that can be crossed at normal speed. Nothing unusual with this.
In the second area, a group of Kournan (guess that is also the english word) will block your path to the boss. You have to go on the top of the cliff and pull using your staff, back up a little, and cast enchantments and the mantra while they are climbing.
(can't understand the logical link between the previous part and the next ...)
The only problem are the warriors using Deep wound and some kind of interruption. That's why he uses soothing images.
So you first pull, place soothing images on the warriors, you will usually already have deep wound on you, however it should be just fine. Cast a few spells to divert their interrupts, and as soon as it is okay, cast stoneskin.
As soon as deep wound is gone most of the risks are gone

Thanks, great job
Here's what I think of this farm
Heket mobs use Dismember and Agonizing Chop - both adrenaline based
Agonizing Chop causes deep wound
Dismember interrupts you if you have deep wound
For this reason you have to use Soothing images for mobs will not be able to build their adrenaline and if they don't they will not cause deep wound nor interrupt you.
The rest is easy for all who farmed UW with ele
Keep enchants on you, cast glyph before casting sliver, when sliver ends cast it again (recharged because of glyph) and finish them of. You need to keep Soothing Images on all the time.
Seems like a nice spot to farm especially for those who play Rits and having problems with finding good equipment.
Today Bodhalz's Staff was just over 20k on Guru so it seems quite profitable if the drop rate is fair.
If anyone likes it - have fun

I think the guy above you is talking about the best staff to use for the build that was posted in that link(Looks like E/Me Stoneflesh/Soothing Images/Glyph of Concentration/Sliver Armor), not about a replacement for the staff being farmed.
Anyway, looks interesting, I'll try it later.

I haven't tried this out, but perhaps this method would work.
1. Clear the area henchway, then flag them out.
2. IIRC, there are 3 sorta 'level's right there, with bohdalz being in the middle one. Stand on the lowest one, in front of him, just out of aggro
3. Head straight at him, until you are up against the next level, hopefully putting the corner of that level between you and bohdalz, so he has no light of sight and cant wand you
4. nuke or use the full spiteful spirit combo against him. sidestep his spirit rifts
depending on how this goes, some slight modifications could easily be made

Well, I tried it a couple of times and it's really hard
For 10 trials I killed him once
I was going with another nuker ele
Bodhalz takes you 50% of life in one shot then degen and it really sucks
The healer next to Bodhalz is a pain in the ass since he takes over your dmg.
In addtion to it interruptions complete the picture of this farm.
I tried the same build on monk as for Ghiall and I think it works a lot better, the only problem is that I get interrupted a lot even with Glyph of Concentration
Well if someone finds a new idea please share
Cheers
Wojtek

as for the healer, as i said above, henchway to clear his pack then glag them out
as for spirit rift (aka 50% life in one shot), just sidestep it -- it has a tiny radius
